16th Wigan held their AGM and prize giving at St Paul’s Community Hall last night. It was a night to celebrate success, achievements, our leaders, and welcome new members.
Joined by our District Lead Volunteer 16th Wigan welcomed in 4 new trustee members who will help to guide the group forward supporting the work of our leaders. There was also time to offically welcome a new Beaver and a two new leaders.
In a year of change for the Scout movement 16th Wigan celebrated two new Bronze Award Chief Scouts in our Beaver Colony whilst other Beavers, Cubs and young leaders received their badges.
Whilst joined by the District Lead Linda (Beavers) was presented with a Bar to the Silver Acorn and Nat (Cubs and Scouts) was presented with his Chief Scout Commendation. The awards celebrate their service to the group, district and county and the numerous young people they have helped to achieve.
