As storm Amey blew in, the planned camping at Bispham Hall was cancelled. Fortunately, the weather improved enough for a day of Chariot Racing.
The extra rain and mud went in our favour as both the Scout team and the Young Leader picked up trophies. The Scouts were crowned the fastest team in Wigan with a time of 11 minutes 12 seconds. The Young Leaders taking part against other Explorer groups picked up a podium place for 3rd place with a time of 10 minutes 34 seconds.
