16th Wigan started the Christmas period with a social get together. Members hosted the community for a night of food, games and some presentations.
District Lead Jeff Picton joined the evening to present commendations to Kate, Neil and Noel whilst Linda was presented with her 40 year service award. Sarah was also presented with a vase and flowers as she steps back from leadering after 50 years service. Whilst our latest Cheif Scout Gold award earners were presented with their awards.
The event raised over £200 for the group which will go towards the summer camp, events and equipment for the young people.
